Reputed as New Zealand's smallest art gallery, Vinnies has an ever-changing selection of artwork adorning our dining room walls. As proud supporters of the New Zealand art scene, each year three New Zealand artists are given the opportunity to showcase their work at Vinnies. Each time we launch their works with a fabulous Art Box Dinner inviting the resident artist to discuss their work and the story behind it, while diners enjoy a bespoke Vinnies meal and wine.

VINNIES ART BOX DINNER - with Stanley Palmer
Wednesday 9th November 7pmA very special evening where you will get to enjoy not only a delicious four course feast with matching wines, but to rub shoulders and meet Stanley as he shares stories of his work, inspiration and career throughout the evening.
We currently have three stunningly beautiful large paintings here at Vinnies by Stanley Palmer, Auckland based painter and printmaker. They are from the series if I am remembering anything and were originally exhibited at Melanie Roger Gallery in July 2011. They explore the regions of Manganese Point, Whatipu and Karamea with large canvases filling the dining space as a tribute to writer John Mulgan and his quintessential New Zealand novel Man Alone.
