The Vinnies Art Box
Vinnies is the proud locale for Auckland's smallest art gallery. Measuring just 610mm wide by 1100 tall and only 210 deep, the Vinnies Art Box continually presents the work of some of our finest local artists. Every three months a new artist joins us to unveil their featured piece. This is followed by a 'meet the artist' dinner and you are welcome to join us.

The restaurant space also features striking contemporary art by Sarah Smuts-Kennedy and the enigmatic collages of Gavin Hurley. Sarah was commissioned to produce the artwork entitled 'Salvator Rosa' in the main dining room. Hurley uses collage in lieu of drawing and the scenes are selected from historical popular culture books and magazines. His work is featured in the Kahikatea room and over time other collages by this artist will join the original grouping.
