Bastille Day Dinner 2011

Ah mes amies, a divine evening with Chantal Landais entertaining us with tales of the French Revolution and teaching us some very chic French styling tips as we surrendered ourselves to the awe-inspiring 4 courses of French fare and matching wines of course.

The evening was completed with gorgeous goody bags. Tres Bien – we will be looking to repeat this special event, so book ahead to reserve your seat for 14 July 2012!

Tour de France Dinner July 2011

Designed for keen cyclists a very special Tour de France dinner was held during the first week of the competition.

Geoff's spectacular menu reflected the spectacular French course and former Tour de France rider Eric MacKenzie spoke about his personal experiences riding the Tour in the 1980s.

There were plenty of spot-prizes and laughter - but alas no lycra. A hit with local spinners, this event is sure to be a sell-out in 2012 so register your interest now.

Honey Dinner, June 2011

Vinnies celebrated National Bee Week with a special fundraising dinner for the Wildflower Bee Rescue Fund.

A four course 'honey inspired' menu created by Chef & Owner Geoff Scott set a buzz amongst the diners before a spectacular auction of artwork and honey products.

An impressive sum of funds were raised whilst guests were entertained with speeches by legendary Queen Bee Maureen Maxwell and Auckland's very own Town Hall Beekeeper.
